Welcome to Allegany County Young Democrats!

We are an organization of young people, who as Democrats, have an active interest in the present and future of Allegany County Maryland, the United States and the World.

In order to be a member of ACYD, you must be under the age of 36 and declare your affiliation with the Democratic Party - that's it!

Our members share many common views, and we have healthy disagreements of a few, but we're united in our youth and in our desire to see Democrats get elected to office to support our shared vision.

Whether it's meeting with elected officials, candidates, throwing great parties or working on campaigns there's always something fun going on!

We meet the first Wednesday of every month at 7:00 pm at Geatz's Restaurant, 202 Paca Street, Cumberland, MD.
